Big Lake Boat Rentals was awesome! They were great communicators and very accommodating and patient when our crazy bachelorette party showed up. The pontoon boat we had originally rented had a dinged propeller from a previous renter, so they upgraded us to the newer/nicer boat for free! The pontoon and 2 jet skis we rented all worked perfectly and were in great condition. Thanks so much!!

Every thing was quick in and out, when it came to getting the machine and dropping it off. I rented the spark "PJ" and it drove good. I was almost disappointed when I saw how small the spark was and I asked to switch machines but the others were booked so I kept the spark. BUT it was perfect! easy to maneuver and even though it was small it had a kick to it. Probably won't be the last time blbr sees me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, and the snow machining was amazing! We just happened to come upon the end of a “fun run memorial” this day and it was an amazing experience to feel even a part of this snow machine life! The hosts were very responsive and helpful in making sure we got the full experience in the short time we were here, and we can’t wait until the next time! Our pup was in Heaven in this dog-friendly setting as well and that was a huge factor for us!

This jet ski place is small but there jet skis are top of the line! Only issue was they weren't very organized with rental rules and changes. I had rented the jet ski and paid more for a bigger one to tow a tube behind and they told me after driving there and paying the day I showed up that they can't allow tow behind anymore. 🤨

It was late September when I called Big Lake Boat Rentals to see about renting a pontoon boat. I can't remember the gals name, but she was very friendly and told me that they were actually closed but haven't taken the boats out of the water yet, so they stay open for me to rent one. The pontoon was clean and everything checked out, we did a thorough check over and it was in excellent shape. It helped make our trip more event full and fun. Great appreciation to them for staying open long enough for us.

What a great experience. our family needed to get a large group down Big Lake to Flat Lake. We were not sure how to get it done. We discovered Big Lake Boat rental, problem solved. Had a lovely day on the water. Rented a pontoon for the day with friends and their kids. The boat was clean, ran well and pre/post launch inspected so there would be no misunderstandings. Safety instructions as well as a map of the lake were provided. Even has a privacy potty for a few extra bucks. Can't speak highly enough of the owner. Very nice woman. Family owned/operated. Would definitely do again if given the opportunity.

4 hours of paddleboarding was awesome, besides drowning a phone. We had time to tan on them, jump into the water, and paddleboard. The paddleboards are wide and very stable. It is wavy there because of so many boats and jetskis. Service is great👌

What an amazing time! We rented a pontoon for the day. We were educated on safely operating the watercraft. We also rented a tube and there is an option to have an onboard privacy potty. (Highly recommend) The kids had a great time. Clean, great condition, super friendly and informative. Absolutely fabulous. Was so great our friend rented it again the following week. Life jackets provided. Can't speak highly enough of this business!

The pricing was acceptable. You get to drive the boat all around the lake. The staff are friendly and helpful. The boat was in good condition and easy to operate (even for someone with little experience). The dock is sufficiently far away so you don't have to worry about washing ashore. The bathrooms were really clean, which was nice. Would recommend bringing a picnic for your trip. Fun way to spend a day on the lake!

I love renting pontoons on vacations. It was hard to find a rental place near downtown Anchorage, but thought I would try renting some place else. Enter Big Lake Boat Rental. They were easy to book over the phone and flexible in terms of time regarding when we took the boat out. We just rented a pontoon, but I believe they have water toys, jet skis, and kayaks that you can rent as well. The one thing I will say though is to keep in mind that the gas station may close before Big Lake Boat Rental does. This is important because the price per gallon goes up some (if you bring back the boat and the tank isn't full), although it won't break the bank. The women who work here were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were really nice. Also, taking the boat on and off the dock was pretty easy. I don't think you have to reserve a boat ahead of time, but I might recommend it on days that are busy. The prices were generally reasonable and the lake was a good size. I would definitely recommend this for a sunny day in Alaska.
